Përballja e Ofertave Politike – POP, është një nismë e rrjetit të 12 organizatave të shoqërisë civile shqiptare në kuadër të zgjedhjeve të ardhshme lokale. Nëpërmjet këtij projekti Rrjeti Pop, synon të forcojë bashkëpunimin me qytetarët në përfshirjen e tyre në vendimmarrje në nivel vendor, duke qenë një urë lidhëse mes tyre (qytetarëve) dhe pushtetit vendor për sa i përket transparencës, llogaridhënies dhe demokracisë vendore.

Transparency in Shkodra Municipality

In April 2016, “Young Intellectuals, Hope” organization published the first Report on Transparency in Shkodra Municipality, which was focused on the enforcement of law nr 119/2014, on “The Right to Information” as well as the development of the process of public consultation focused on the enforcement of law nr 146/2014, on “Public Notification and Consultation”.

Publication of the report departs from the high sensitivity of the public to make transparent enforcement in joint stock company "Football Club Vllaznia" Although there have been numerous requests to make the transparency of the society should be noted that local leaders have not implemented such a process ever. Therefore the initiative taken by a civil society organization, to shed light on transparency, building operations and activities of society "Football Club VLLAZNIA" JSC through the presentation of the facts and legal arguments, it takes a special importance.

The right to information and transparency is an essential element that must be guaranteed for all citizens for proper and democratic governance. Transparency means sharing information as well as pursuing the activity of institutions openly to the public. Free access to information plays a key role in promoting transparency and preventing corruption, and as such state institutions must offer it on time and in full to the citizens, in order to guarantee an effective use. Willingness to provide information from the institutions of public administration increases their responsibilities in serving citizens.

Local Citizens Panel in Albania 7. – 9.5.2010

With “Sport and Cultures in Dialogue” project ISCA (International Sport and Cultures Association), CESS (European Confederation sport and Health) and project partners organize and facilitate a direct and trans-national dialogue between citizens in existing EU member countries and in candidate/potential candidate countries in South East Europe - Croatia, Macedonia and Albania. The dialogue is focused on the role of sport in developing civil societies and is highlighted current strengths and weaknesses of sport and its organizations.
